Job Description

Learn and understand the fundamentals of database administration, with a focus on SQL and Oracle database systems.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL and Oracle databases.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Assist in database backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with senior DBAs to perform database upgrades and patching.
Learn and implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
Assist in the development and execution of SQL queries and scripts for data manipulation.
Participate in database capacity planning and optimization efforts.
Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in database administration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of databases, SQL, and database management concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Eagerness to learn and a strong desire to pursue a career in database management.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
