Job Description

• Provide technical leadership in the design, development and implementation of site process automation and control systems
• Co-ordinate and manage control systems projects including providing technical guidance to junior process automation engineers, maintenance technicians, manufacturing, and others.
• Support the full system lifecycle for process automation and control systems including the design, assessment, selection, commissioning, validation and implementation of systems.
• Strong practical knowledge of Selenium with Java, C Sharp and Python
• A solid understanding of software requirements verification techniques, test case design and development
• Elaborate analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of software engineering skills and practices
• Hands on experience with Test Development Infrastructure such as TestNG, Junit, Selenium, Codecept JS, API etc.
• Familiarity with source control systems, such as GIT.
• Able to define CI/CD (Jenkins, Circle Ci, Gitlab, Azure)
• Sense of ownership, passion to build, support and maintain quality products for massive scale in collaborative, agile environment and excitement to learn.
• To lead teams of engineers on technical projects, and communicate with other technical teams
• To write functional, integration, and regression test plans
• To perform system and software problem analysis in order to support the investigation of problems and verify their resolution in automation suite development
• Debug and report test failures to identify the root cause of failures whenever possible while performing highly complex analysis, which would generally include multiple distributed components.
• To work and deliver projects within an Agile environment
• Work with Stakeholders to come up with test strategy for new and existing areas in-accordance with project timelines and leadership expectations.
• Candidate must have experience in writing Test Automation Strategy, Test Plan etc
• Experience in designing framework of Automation

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science /Software Engineering or an equivalent of a degree in an appropriate field and experience.

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of overall experience in Information Technology 
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience as a leading role of Software-Automation engineer
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Automation Framework Designing
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Selenium/Cypress/Appium/ Cucumber/BDD
