Job Description

DatumSquare IT Services is in the process of rapid growth and expanding its team and looking for talented and passionate QA Engineer. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and usability of our software products, with a focus on desktop and mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough testing to ensure our applications function optimally across various desktop and mobile devices.
Creating, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases within the Agile development framework to validate software functionality and features.
Conducting testing across different browsers and devices to ensure consistent performance and user experience.
Performing manual testing on applications, identifying bugs, issues, and areas for improvement; automation skills are a plus.
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA/2.1) by conducting comprehensive accessibility testing and addressing accessibility-related issues.
Collaborating effectively with clients and technology stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide quality assurance insights.
Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively document and report on testing processes, results, and issues.

The key skills required for this position are:

3+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance, particularly in the areas of responsibility mentioned.
Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA/2.1) and experience in accessibility testing.
Familiarity with various testing tools and methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, adapt to change, and contribute to an Agile development process.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or an equivalent in work experience.
