Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the weighbridge operations to ensure accurate and timely weighing of incoming and outgoing coal shipments.
Ensure compliance with weight measurement standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot and address any technical issues related to the weighbridge.
Work closely with logistic contractors to manage the coal transportation fleet effectively.
Schedule deliveries to align with IPP schedules, optimizing routes and vehicle utilization.
Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to coal supply chain activities.
Ensure all documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and contracts, is accurate and up to date.
Facilitate the efficient flow of information between relevant parties.
Establish and maintain effective communication channels with IPPs to understand their coal supply needs and preferences.
Monitor logistic contract compliance and address any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
Foster positive relationships with external partners, ensuring a smooth and productive collaboration
Oversee stockyard operations, including forecasting coal demand and optimizing stockpile levels.
Collaborate with IPPs to synchronize coal supply with their requirements.
Establish and maintain robust inventory control processes to track coal quantities and qualities accurately.
Generate regular inventory reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate periodic physical inventory audits and reconciliation efforts.
Any other task or responsibility as and when assigned by the management.
