Job Description

The Bank of Punjab is one of the leading banks of Pakistan with a large network of over 800 online branches including Islamic Banking branches across Pakistan. BOP invites applications from high-caliber, seasoned professionals for the following position in its People & Organizational Excellence Group at Head Office.

Grade: EVP/SEVP

Location: Lahore

Job Responsibilities:

·       The Group Head People & Organizational Execelence Group will be responsible for partnering with functional leaders to drive HR related activities such as organizational development, talent acquisition, talent management and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance, disciplinary and grievance issues, etc. The role holder must have hands-on experience in organizational transformation both in terms of processes and culture. The incumbent should be able to collaborate with the functional leaders to develop their strategy, organizational structures, policies, teams, and advise on improvements and any optimization solutions inclusive of cost savings and cross-department synergies. The role holder will be expected to coach/guide people leaders and be a Culture Champion.

·         Lead and monitor the development, integration and implementation of end-to-end talent management initiatives including recruitment, career planning and succession planning to ensure talent management philosophies, processes and programs to achieve desired outcomes.

·         Create a High Performance Culture by implementing a robust performance management and compensation & benefits program including performance reviews, appraisals and promotions at all levels. Implement a strategic learning strategy which builds upon the abilities, skills and knowledge of all employees and inculcates a High-Performance Mindset throughout the organization.

General Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate from a HEC recognized University / Foreign University. Candidates having international certifications in HR will have added advantage.

Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience including 5 years at a similar position/ role. Banking experience will be preferred but not mandatory.

Age: No more than 55 years as of March 10, 2024

The candidate should be eligible under FPT criteria of State Bank of Pakistan.

The position demands highly motivated, result oriented individual with demonstrated experience & leadership

skills and well-versed with applicable banking regulations, labor laws & practices.
