Job Description

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops and AWS CodePipeline
Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Deploy and manage Docker containers in production and test environments
Design, implement, and maintain auto-scaling systems using AWS ECS, Lambda, EC2, or other cloud platforms
Design and implement disaster recovery strategies, ensuring high availability and site reliability
Configure and maintain monitoring and logging systems using tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or CloudWatch
Continuously improve and optimize the deployment process, reducing time to market and increasing reliability
Troubleshoot issues that arise in production and provide technical support to developers and stakeholders
Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and implement infrastructure solutions that meet their requirements

Who you are

As a DevOps Engineer, you have a strong understanding of the latest DevOps practices and technologies. You have a passion for automation and improving the software development lifecycle. You have excellent problem-solving skills and are able to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently. You have excellent communication skills and can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are able to work well under pressure and have a strong customer service mindset. Additionally, you have a strong desire to continuously improve processes and systems and are proactive in finding solutions to problems.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a DevOps role
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code
Experience in deploying and managing Docker containers
Strong background with AWS or other cloud platforms
Familiarity with monitoring and logging
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Powershell and Bash
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Puppet
Knowledge of Kafka, SQL databases, and SQL programming a plus
