Job Description

  • Conduct physical/virtual meetings to create a forum for discussion of all credit requests that fall under the approving authority of the Committee and convey the ultimate decision of said requests to all stakeholders.
  • Recording of minutes of the meeting and subsequent circulation of said minutes after the end of each meeting to all stakeholders, including the Committee members.
  • Interaction with all members of the Committee along with their respective Secretariats to schedule meetings.
  • Coordination with all relevant stakeholders including Credit Risk and Business teams to ensure that relevant information is in place for smooth presentation in the meetings.
  • Attend to any queries/requirements of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), raised on an ad – hoc basis and / or during their routine inspection periods.

Critical Challenges:

  • The candidate is required to ensure that the decorum of the Committee is maintained during meetings and that discussions are carried out in a smooth manner and that decisions as taken by the Committee are recorded and conveyed with efficacy and accuracy.
  • The candidate is required to be able to manage the digital infrastructure available to ensure that meetings are carried out within any technical issues. 
  • Given the frequency of the meetings, the candidate is to ensure that minutes are prepared immediately after the conclusion of the meetings, to ensure that delays / back logs are not witnessed.

Job Requirements:

  • Needs to be a Graduate / Masters in Finance / Risk Management.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in Credit Risk with knowledge of the function and banking products. 
  • Ability to fluently converse in English and Urdu.
