Job Description

Task profile

  • Responsibility for accounting including operational cooperation, e.g., in the area of ​​revenue recognition.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS in collaboration with the admin teams.
  • Creation of monthly group reporting, e.g. working capital reporting, management packs, customer attrition analysis.
  • Responsibility for controlling, including rolling forecasts and analysis of monthly results and deriving recommendations for action.
  • Responsibility for balance sheet and P&L, including monthly account reconciliations (Blackline)
  • Business partner of the management and other department heads
  • Support in the integration of acquired companies.
  • Monitoring and further development of the internal control system
  • Preparation of statutory annual financial statements and coordination of tax returns for 2-4 group companies
  • Responsibility for preparing advance sales tax returns, ZM, statistical reports, etc.
  • Central contact for auditors and tax advisors
  • Disciplinary and professional management of 1-2 employees
Requirements
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position or a BIG 4 company
  • Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP is an advantage.
  • Experience in operational accounting
  • Understanding of the finance manager/controller as a "business partner”
  • Experience in the software industry is a plus.
  • Hands-on mentality and initiative
  • Team player
  • IT affinity – especially advanced MS Excel knowledge
  • Confident appearance in order to be able to act as a sparring partner at management level.
  • Ideally experience in post-merger integrations
  • Solid knowledge of English
