Job Description

As SAP – BASIS Administrator you will provide technical support and high-level leadership for SAP systems. This typically includes establishing standards and requirements, evaluating, and directing enhancements or upgrades, implementing processes for performance monitoring, and system configuration, design, and implementation. The SAP Basis Consultant is also responsible for the management of the SAP environment on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities usually include configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the environment, as well as scheduling and running the TMS.

Things you will be doing as an SAP – BASIS Administrator

Ensure Highest Availability of SAP Systems ensuring all systems are running smoothly.
Daily Monitoring Tasks / Preventive Maintenance to mitigate unplanned downtimes
Plan iterative upgrades/patches/hotfix based on requirements.
Plan and execute configuration changes and system tuning with minimum disruption to the business operations
Responsible for SAP TMS and external interfaces
Ensure Compliance by Planning and Implementing Licensing Strategy and Control.
Conduct License audit.
Administer user access to the SAP system
SAP Authorization Management
Monitor SAP Systems for Security Issues/Gaps
Review EWA reports for all systems
Review Launchpad for System Security / Health
Plan actions to ensure system security based on all available tools
SAP Fiori and BTP solutions administration
Take Lead on Scoping of any new technology / products that will add value to the Business Operations.
Plan for Scalable Solutions that align with the Business and IT Strategy of the company.

What we are looking for in you?

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and certification in NetWeaver/ Basis.
4 to 6 years of relevant experience
Independent decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
Communication skills.
English Proficiency for Coordination with International Supports teams of SAP
Translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Creative/ambitious for inception of new and bold ideas also having excellent planning capabilities to materialize those ideas
